Spicy Tuna Croquettes

Do you want to make a delicious tuna dish but you only have CANNED TUNA? This is the perfect recipe for you. Although the recipe calls for spicy tuna, you can use regular tuna as well. This is a recipe that is great for kids and adults!

Spicy Tuna Croquettes

  • 1 can tuna in olive oil drained
  • 1 can spicy can of tuna drained
  • Chopped cilantro
  • 1 egg
  • Diced onion (optional)
  • Pitted olives
  • cilantro
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Turmeric and Saffron (optional)
  1. Mix tuna, cilantro, egg and diced onion together.

  2. Form croquettes and sauté in olive oil on each side until golden.
  3. Add pitted olives, garlic, cilantro, lemon juice, and water (and extra optional spices) 

  4. Boil, reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes.

Sharon Cohen was born in Jerusalem, Israel and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she reside with her husband and three beautiful daughters. Growing up, her mom would cook traditional foods that brought back wonderful memories of her grandparents’ home.
